Gundabad Orc Scrounger

Gundabad Orc Scroungers are Orkish traders that can be found in Gundabad Camps all over western Middle-Earth. These scavengers and tinkerers will sell supplies to allies of Gundabad and purchase odds and ends in return. They can be easily recognized by their full set of fur armour, the daggers they wield, and the silver coin they carry in their left hand.

Spawning

Gundabad Orc Scroungers spawn only in Gundabad Camps, which can be found across Eriador, the Lone-lands, the Vales of Anduin, Northern Wilderland, and many neighboring biomes. Not all camps have scroungers, however - some Gundabad Camps have Gundabad Orc Chieftains instead, so the player may have to search a few camps to find the right NPC.

Behaviour

Gundabad Orc Scroungers spend most of their time wandering around the camps where they spawn, waiting to make a shady deal with friendly passers-by. They will occasionally speak to allied players unprompted, offering to trade. They rarely go far from their camps, and if they aren't killed they can be found regularly around the centre of the camp. As Orcs, Gundabad Orc Scroungers are subjected to slowness and weakness effects when exposed to the Sun.

They will attack anyone who kills a fellow Gundabad NPC within their sight range, fighting with their small daggers.

Equipment

Gundabad Orc Scrounger wear only fur skins which makes them a weaker orc, giving them 9 points of armour. They carry only a dagger in terms of weapons.

Strategy

If you want to avoid conflict with Orcs, make sure to sleep through the night when travelling through Orc territories.
When fighting Orcs, use long ranged weapons like spears as basic Orcs are smaller and have a shorter reach.
Try to draw them away and fight them one at a time, because many Orcs can overwhelm you, especially with insufficient equipment.

Lore

Gundabad Orcs recieved their name for the sacking of a dwarven mountain fortress named Mount Gundabad during the Second Age.
